International Product Manager (m/f/d)

As an experienced Product Manager, you are committed to the successful development of your assigned product portfolio and the achievement of the brand objectives. You are responsible for both the development of the marketing concepts and the regional product strategies, as well as the implementation of these strategies in the markets of Central Eastern Europe. Within our International Marketing department with colleagues from several countries, you will be part of a small Product Management team reporting to the responsible Group Product Manager.

This position can be based in the regional headquarters in Berlin, Germany, or in one of the countries in Central Eastern Europe if there is a hosting possibility available with our local affiliate.

These tasks inspire you

  • Continuously monitoring and analysing the trends in the pharmaceutical market, and tracking the competitive environment
  • Identifying and evaluating opportunities to develop the existing portfolio and launch new products
  • Formulating the regional brand strategy for the assigned products and monitoring its implementation in line with the market opportunity and the stage of the product life cycle
  • Leading all aspects of new product introduction and launch readiness on a regional level within the assigned therapeutic areas/product franchises
  • Preparing the annual brand plans, defining the critical success factors and prioritising the marketing mix
  • Planning, defending and managing the regional marketing budget for the assigned products and ensuring its appropriate investment
  • Collaborating with all relevant functions at a Regional and Corporate level and acting as a cross-functional lead to achieve brand goals
  • Organizing trainings and workshops for the local Product Managers to expand disease and product knowledge facilitate best practice sharing and motivate country teams to achieve brand objectives
  • Developing and maintaining partnerships with European medical societies and key opinion leaders, and creating product advocates
  • Ensuring that all marketing activities are compliant with international laws and ethical codes (IFPMA, EFPIA), and observing corporate guidelines and policies at all times

What sets you apart

  • University degree in life sciences (medicine, pharmacy, biology), business administration or marketing
  • Several years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, preferably on an international level
  • Demonstrable success in launching and/or developing new and mature brands
  • Experience in key opinion leader engagement
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to create a strong network and work in a cross-functional team
  • Dedicated and capable team player
  • Fluent English and strong communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office and Google Workspace
